Symbols of the Church

The Cross
The chief symbol of the Christian Church. There are more than fifty forms of the Cross on which Jesus was Crucified.

The Dove
A symbol of the Holy Spirit. When we see the Dove, we are reminded of Jesus' baptism.
The Wheat
The bread representing the body of Christ.
The Trefoil
The threefold experience of 'God with us now' - the Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Grape
The wine representing the blood of Christ.
The Triangle
Constructed of three sides, the Triangle is another symbol of the Trinity.
The Lamb
Jesus is the lamb of God.  Jesus is our Good Shepherd-
Jesus loves us more than we could possibly know, He loves us as if there were only one of us to love.
The Star
The 'Coming of Christ' - also symbolizes God, the Holy Spirit, and the disciples.
Six Point Star
Symbolizes the power, wisdom, majesty, love, mercy, and justice of God.
