MISSION STATEMENT

 

 

The Mission of the Endowment Committee is to manage the Endowment Fund in a fiscally responsible manner; to invest monies with the primary objective of preservation of principal and the secondary objective to generate a return adequate to fund the ministry and mission of St. Paul’s UCC; to seek new endowments to the Endowment Fund and to grant the monies stipulated in the Bylaws each year to worthwhile needs in our Church, our community, our region and around the world consistent with the ministry and mission of St. Paul’s UCC.

 

 

ENDOWMENT COMMITTEE

OBJECTIVES

 

The Endowment Committee’s Objectives are:  to seek the widest array of input within our Church community for funding recipients; to vary the fund recipients year to year to achieve a diversity of assistance to our global community; to publicize the work of the Endowment Fund to inspire others to donate funds into the principal of the Endowment Fund; and to match suggestions for funding recipients to our required Areas:  Christian Education; Community Service and Outreach; Wider Mission of the UCC; Capital Improvements; and Annual Church Programs; all subject to approval by Council.
